Jackson Fine Art is pleased to present Meghann Riepenhoff and Richard Mirach in a two-person exhibition entitled Duet, a celebration of the unique creative relationship between these two artists, and the importance of collaborations to the photographic tradition on the whole. Misrach, one of the most influential photographers of his generation, acted as a mentor to Riepenhoff throughout art school in San Francisco and in her early years as a working photographer. Duet features a selection of work from their most recent series: Notations for Misrach, and Ice for Riepenhoff. Misrach’s work will be included in the High Museum’s fall exhibition, A Long Arc: Photography and the American South since 1845. Both artists will conduct a public talk at the gallery on Oct. 4, and we invite you to join us for an opening reception on Thursday, October 5 at 5:30PM.
